Type quick notes anywhere and easily find them again later. Designed for the iPhone and iPod Touch, Dexy is the spiritual descendent of old-school programs like QuickDEX for Macintosh and Cardfile for Windows.

Your iPhone goes everywhere you do. Now your notes can, too.

With Dexy, you don't have to give your notes titles, or create folders, or decide where to file every note so you can find them again later.

Instead, you add a new card, type a quick note, and get on with your day.

When you need to find a note later, type any word you remember from the note in the search area at the top of the screen and Dexy will find your note.

Anyone who has typed on the iPhone keyboard knows that it's not exactly built for speed.

To help, Dexy also works in the iPhone landscape orientation for faster, two-handed typing.

The Settings screen lets you change the typeface, font size, and the color and texture of your card backgrounds.

Font choices consist of American Typewriter, Courier New, Georgia, Helvetica, Times New Roman, and Verdana.

Eight different paper texture backgrounds are available, including parchment, recycled paper bag, and graph paper.

Because you sometimes want to share a note, Dexy allows you to email individual cards to yourself or others.

Meanwhile, Dexy's built-in backup/restore feature offers secure online storage of your data, free of charge.
